The Brief:

Barbour People approached us with an exciting project. We were tasked with coming over to Feastival to shoot their collaboration as well as providing some social-first vertical content.

The Challenge:

Our aim was to capture footage to create a Barbour highlights reel as well as interviewing members of the public, with on-screen talent, to grab some fun and engaging cut aways for a vertical video.

Our Approach:

Due to the adaptability of this shoot and needing to be in multiple places, we had one of our camera operators on the ground with the client. The main thing we needed to ensure was the portability of the camera rig, so we kept it nice and light to dart about the festival.

In the edits, we used quick cuts and fun sound design to make sure that this piece stood out and had those quirks that these videos are known for.

The Result:

The result was fantastic and this one of Barbours first use of professionally created vertical content.

The results got great traction on Instagram, as well maintaining their professional brand image with high-end production.

The end result was two pieces of content. A highlights reel of then event and a social-first vertical video talking to members of the public.
