Landing in Geneva and winding through the mountain roads toward Annecy, the LRB team knew this wasn’t going to be just another project.

As a Bristol-based B2B podcasting and content production company with clients spread across the globe, LRB is no stranger to international shoots. But this one had a particular sense of adventure like no shoot before it.

The client, The Grand DeTour, is launching a brand-new YouTube series designed to showcase the unique lifestyle opportunities of owning a second home in the French Alps.

This pilot episode had to be nothing short of spectacular – and our cameras were there to capture every twist of the throttle, every mountain vista, and all the tourist destinations along the way.

Richard Hammond-Chambers-Borgnis of French Connections HCB, and Géraud Nayral, CEO of French Tax Online Group embarked on a motorcycle tour across some of Europe’s most iconic landscapes, with the LRB team tasked with filming their journey.

We kitted out the motorbikes with GoPros, mounted cameras on support vehicles, and took to the skies with drones to capture the views of the French Alps.

Alongside the footage of winding roads and mountain passes, we also dug into the cultural richness of the region – filming inside a cheese cave, capturing the surreal contrast of snow in summer, and taking the audience to the very top of Europe’s highest road.

As LRB CEO Luke Barnett put it: “This was an incredible shoot in one of Europe’s most beautiful places – sometimes it doesn’t even feel like work when we get to do shoots like this.”

Here is the three-day shoot:
